DOG OF THE WEEK - HELP BEA FIND HER "FOREVER" HOME

Bea is a 9 month old female Shepherd mix. Bea loves other dogs. She is obedient, loves kids and does great with cats.

Bea is a 9 month old female Shepherd mix. She was rescued from a high kill shelter in Southern Georgia. According to the shelter manager, the shelter had Bea on the list to be put down, but the manager brought her home to work with her and see what why such a great dog was going to be euthanized. According to the shelter manager, “There is nothing wrong with her, she is perfect. She is a sweet girl. Once I got her out of the pen, I found her to be very loving. When I turned her out in my fenced in yard, she would follow me around and always come back when I called to her and want to be loved”.

Bea loves other dogs. She is obedient, loves kids and does great with cats. Bea is now in New Jersey with her local foster mom, who states: “Bea is a pleasure to have and to be around. She is loyal, loving and obedient. She loves all other dogs, teaches kids how to be gentle and kind with her presence and just the perfect size at 37 pounds”. Bea is spayed, up- to-date with her vaccinations, and micro-chipped.

About Home for Good Dog Rescue:

Home for Good is a volunteer-based, 501(c) (3) non-profit animal rescue. We are a 100 percent foster based organization with an office in Berkeley Heights, New Jersey. Our organization is dedicated to rescuing dogs from deplorable conditions in kill shelters, tending to their physical needs and finding them a new loving home where they can thrive.

At Home for Good, we seek the best treatment for our animals. We provide medical care, training, support and hope. Our dogs are vaccinated and ID micro-chipped. We rescue puppies and dogs that are facing euthanasia. Some require surgery from a specialist to repair broken limbs, while others may need additional rehabilitation time and specific medical care for respiratory illnesses, skin infections, heartworm treatments, and emergency surgeries. Through our adoption services, these loving animals are given a chance at a fulfilled life.
