DOG OF THE WEEK - HELP SAMPSON FIND HIS "FOREVER" HOME
Sampson is a 5 month old Labrador Retriever- Spaniel mix looking for his "forever" home.
Sampson is a 5 month old Labrador Retriever- Spaniel mix. He was found in a kill shelter in South Carolina and was about to be euthanized because he limped a bit. Sampson is an amazing, sweet and loving dog. He enjoys playing in a yard, so a big fenced in yard would be ideal. Sampson will chase any ball but his favorite is a soccer ball. He loves to play fetch, although at this point it is more like keep away.
Sampson knows the commands “sit” and “no” and is working on “shake”. He does well on a leash and should have it mastered soon. Although he has a limp, his limp never slows him down. Sampson is a pleasure to be around and will make a loyal lifelong companion. Sampson is looking for that special person or family that will spoil him, play fetch with him, cuddle with him and love him for the rest of his life. Sampson is neutered, up-to-date with his vaccinations and micro-chipped.
For more information on Samson or any of the other dogs available through Home for Good Dog Rescue visit the Home for Good website (www.homeforgooddogs.org). About Home for Good Dog Rescue:
Home for Good is a volunteer-based, 501(c) (3) non-profit animal rescue. We are a 100 percent foster based organization with an office in Berkeley Heights, New Jersey. Our organization is dedicated to rescuing dogs from deplorable conditions in kill shelters, tending to their physical needs and finding them a new loving home where they can thrive.
At Home for Good, we seek the best treatment for our animals. We provide medical care, training, support and hope. Our dogs are vaccinated and ID micro-chipped. We rescue puppies and dogs that are facing euthanasia. Some require surgery from a specialist to repair broken limbs, while others may need additional rehabilitation time and specific medical care for respiratory illnesses, skin infections, heartworm treatments, and emergency surgeries. Through our adoption services, these loving animals are given a chance at a fulfilled life.
