Donations Of Kid's Play Equipment Needed In Summit

Residents are being asked to donate pre-school age children's play equipment and toys for a Village Green "Kids Zone" during summer events.

SUMMIT, NJ — Area residents are being asked to donate pre-school age children’s play equipment and toys for a Village Green “Kids Zone” during summer special events, including Screen on the Green, Hot Summer Nights Concert Series, Community Night and National Night Out.

“We believe that is important to make sure everyone is having the best possible experience at our events,”
said Summit Director of Community Programs Judith L. Josephs. “As part of our mission to share the fun, we are creating a play area for our youngest concert and movie goers to keep them entertained as well.”

The Summit Department of Community Programs is asking the community to donate used Little Tikes play sets, play kitchens with plastic food sets, pots and pans, Legos, DUPLO building blocks, foam floor puzzles and other toys that would be appropriate for children ages three to five.
