Elizabeth Man Remains Missing Since June
John "Jay" McNamara, 40, of Elizabeth was last seen by his mother in June. He is known to visit the Elizabeth/Newark border, police say.
ELIZABETH, NJ — An Elizabeth man, who was last seen by his mother in June, remains missing, police report.
John "Jay" McNamara, 40, was last seen on June 3 at 193 Halstead Road in Elizabeth by his mom Diana Meehan.
McNamara is described as a white man, 5'9" tall, 150 pounds with brown eyes and grey hair.

He is known to frequent the Elizabeth/Newark border area and also has been seen in Wilson Park off Virginia Street/Newark Avenue in Elizabeth and McClellan Street in Newark, Elizabeth Police report.
"There is an abandoned property next to 9 McClellan St. in Newark that runs to Virginia Street in Elizabeth, it is possible that John McNamara is staying in this property," police report.
