ASCAP-winning Composer and Classical Guitar Virtuoso at Summit High School Spring Concert
On Sunday, May 1, 2011 at 3 p.m., The New Jersey Intergenerational Orchestra, under the direction of Joe Gluck, will present a Spring Concert at Summit High School, 124 Kent Place Boulevard, in Summit, NJ.
The concert is free to the public and will premier, Concerto for Guitar and Orchestra, written by 17-time ASCAP award-winning composer, Victor Kioulaphides. Guitar virtuoso and solo guest artist, Christopher Kenniff, a Summit resident, will perform the Concerto for Guitar and Orchestra with the NJIO Symphony.
The concert includes works by Vivaldi, Gounod, Holfeldt and Stravinsky plus, on-stage interviews with the composer and solo guest artist. After the concert, the audience can meet and greet composer, Victor Kioulaphides, and Christopher Kenniff, who will have his CDs available for purchase.
