Book Signing June 4th by Hank Buntin, Author of “The Pointy Arrow Concept; Designing Your Own Competitive Swimming Strokes”

Summit, June 4 - Claremont Realty Group will proudly sponsor a book signing for Hank Buntin,  author of  “THE POINTY ARROW CONCEPT; Designing Your Own Competitive Swimming Strokes”.  Hank Buntin is very well known and well regarded in our community as a highly successful athlete, instructor, and coach in competitive swimming for over 60 years. 45 years of his career were dedicated to the Summit Area YMCA, and concurrently, 35 years as head coach of the Crestview Swim/Tennis Club in New Providence. Hank formerly served as Head Coach of the Summit “Y” Seals, and is presently an assistant Coach, teaching stroke mechanics at Berkeley Aquatic Club in Berkeley Heights.

Hank’s recently published book compiles his philosophical and methodological experiences in swimming and instruction. “The Pointy Arrow Concept” stresses streamlining and balance as key themes to aid in the understanding of the natural forces of the world around us, over which we have little or no control. It emphasizes ways to avoid, modify and use the naturally occurring features of our environment, to navigate, and propel the body, in and through water efficiently.  This book is for swimmers, instructors and coaches of swimming, to read and assimilate helpful ideas, towards improving skills.
