Dances of Universal Peace

The Dances of Universal Peace are a powerful, joyous form of interfaith group meditation and prayer. Using sacred phrases and chants, simple music and movements inspired from many spiritual traditions, the dances promote what deeply unites us -- one Source, one Essence.  Participation, not presentation, is the focus.  No musical or dance experience of any kind is required and everyone is welcome to join us.

Andre Bernard, a former resident at the Lama Foundation in New Mexico, a student of sacred music and dance for many years, and a Certified Leader of the Dances of Universal Peace.   Feb. 4, Mar. 4 and May 6 at Interweave's Summit Center, on the grounds of Calvary Episcopal Church, 31 Woodland Avenue, and Apr. 1 session will be held at the Unitarian Church, at the corner of Waldron and Springfield Aves., Summit.
