Kinnara Ensemble sings of Home

The Kinnara™ Ensemble will make their Summit debut  as they present  “Home,” a one- hour choral concert of American spirituals, hymns, and folk music.  The Princeton based chamber choir consists of 24 professional artists including Christopher Wolf, choral teacher at LCJ Summit Middle School.

Under the direction of Artistic Director J.D. Burnett the concert will musically “explore the idea of home and how certain spaces- some physical, some theoretical/spiritual/emotional, are associated with the idea of home and belonging.”  Repertoire will include “The Road Home” (Paulus), ”Ich wollt dass ich daheime war” (Distler), and “Come Away to the Skies” (Parker/Shaw).

Tickets are $20 available at the door.  Student discount coupons maybe obtained by emailing KinnaraEnsemble@gmail.com. An artist’s reception sponsored by Lois Schneider Realtor will follow.
