The Middle School Holiday Concert will be on Tues., Dec. 13, at 7:30 p.m. in the school auditorium. Band director, Stephen Andrews; orchestra conductor, Joann Manhardt; and chorus director, Daniel King, will be conducting their seventh grade groups in the concert.
The seventh grade band will perform “ The Little Drummer Boy," “Christmastime With Charlie Brown," and “Jewish Folk Medley." Seventh grade orchestra selections will include “Country Wedding," “Counterpoint For Christmas," and “Uskudar" (a Turkish folk tune). The seventh grade chorus will perform "Bethlehem Hallelu," "Elijah and Joshua," and "21 Guns" from Green Day's American Idiot. Additionally, the Middle School Flute Ensemble, under the direction of Michelle Brick, will present a musical prelude in the lobby preceding the concert.
Admission is free and everyone is invited to attend.
