The Summit Y believes in nurturing the potential of every child and teen in our community. At the Y, kids have the opportunity to make friends, have fun, get active and discover who they are and what they can achieve. This fall the Summit Y offers a variety of programs and classes for youth and teens to accomplish these goals. Our activities, which range from leadership development to aquatics, sports and arts, give your child the opportunity to become a confident kid today and healthier, happier gown-up tomorrow.
Some youth class highlights for the fall program session are Creative Writing for ages 7 to 9, Creative Movement for ages 3 to 5, and Introduction to Gymnastics for age 4 to 6. For a full description and listing for all classes and programs offered for youth and teens visit www.summitareaymca.org and download a program guide.
Fall program registration begins August 16 for Y family members, August 17 for youth members and August 23 for non-members. All classes are open to non-members. The fall program session begins September 13 and runs through November 21. As always financial assistance is available for memberships and classes.
