A major interfaith opportunity! Come hear the remarkable story of a Muslim and a Christian leader who journeyed from enemies to friends and co-directors of the Muslim-Christian Interfaith Meditation Centre in Kaduna, Nigeria. Pastor James Wuye and Imam Muhammad Ashafa were religious youth leaders in opposing armed militias in the longstanding religious Muslim-Christian conflict in northern Nigeria. They each suffered devastating losses. Their grassroots peacebuilding effort addresses the causes of religious violence, fosters community education and leads task forces to resolve conflicts across the country.
