Flower Shop Blooms In Summit

SAHOLA Floral Art and Event Design opened earlier this month in Summit.

SUMMIT, NJ — There is a new store blooming in the heart of Summit, SAHOLA Floral Art & Event Design celebrated its grand opening on Dec. 8.

This is the second location for Maplewood local Olga Sahraoui who is the founder and creative designer of SAHOLA. Her first location is in New York City, which was opened in 2013.

Flowers are Sahraoui’s passion and have been since she was a young child.

“When I grew up, I was surrounded by a garden that my grandmother grew,” Sahraoui said. “She brought me up and showed me the value of flowers and how to bring emotions to people through flowers.”

Even during her honeymoon, she and her husband visited a botanical garden where she learned more about exotic flowers and plants.

“All of this influenced me more, so I took my passion to the next level and made it as a career and started developing from there,” Sahraoui said.

SAHOLA offers all types of flowers which provide a modern, very unique twist on flower bouquets. The bouquets offer different decor elements with twigs, stones and wires.

Sahraoui specializes in wedding planning and decor along with social and corporate events.She also offers a residential service where locals can have flowers delivered to their homes on a yearly, monthly or weekly basis.

The flower shop also caters to children and will host a variety of event for them to learn about flowers and plants.

“This is a flower destination for everyone who loves flowers,” Sahraoui said.
