On Friday, December 2nd, two members of The Fortnightly Club of Summit's Volunteer Committee, Sophie Ferronato and Sandy Chambers, visited the Jersey Battered Women's Service (JBWS) headquarters in Morristown to drop off donations supplied by club members.

Nearly 100 items were collected...clothing, jewelry, and approximately $400 in gift cards.

Sophie and Sandy were welcomed inside and given a tour of the boutique where they were told that JBWS is expecting 450 moms and their children to shop there next week. These are victims of domestic violence who live in local shelters and who are given the opportunity to shop for the holidays at this special boutique.
