Franklin Elementary School Girl Scout Troops Team Up for their School

Franklin Elementary School Girl Scout Troops from grades 1 through 5 celebrated the end of the school year by teaming up to donate a new picnic table for the school's recess area. The donation was funded from Girl Scout Cookie sales and donations. The school's 5th grade troop contributed even more through their Bronze Award project which included upgrading the blacktop basketball courts and hosting a basketball clinic for students in younger grades. The new table and courts has added much to the enjoyment and beautification of the school's grounds.
