A new report shows how much debt Kean University students are left with after they graduate.

UNION, NJ — Student loan payments are just a normal part of post-college life for many New Jersey students. A new report shows how much debt Kean University students are left with after they graduate.
Students at the University based in Union graduate with $32,277 in student loans, the seventh highest among public colleges in the Garden State, according to new data published by LendEdu.
About 76 percent of the student body will graduate with some debt, and 19 percent of students will take out private loans. For those with private loans, their average debt burden drops to $27,879.

Tuition per year is currently just over $6,000 for in-state students and around $9,600 for out of state students.
The New Jersey school with the lowest amount of debt is Princeton, which graduates students with an average of $9,000 in debt. The second place school, Ramapo, sends students into post-grad life with about $10,000 worth of debt.
