POSTPONED: Junior League of Summit to be Honored

at Annual ART in the Garden

The Junior League of Summit is pleased to be honored at Reeves-Reed Arboretum’s ART in the Garden™ Gala 2020. The annual garden party under the stars, which is set to take place on Saturday, June 13, is the culmination of the JLS 90th Anniversary celebration. The Junior League of Summit and Reeves-Reed Arboretum have a long-standing partnership that has developed as a result of their mutual commitment to the local community. RRA has been the recipient of many JLS community partner grants through the JLS scholarship and grants program, most recently providing funding for hands-on Square Foot Gardening Workshops for children and adults. “The Junior League of Summit has a long history of service and we are thrilled to be honored by Reeves-Reed Arboretum at this year's ART In The Garden™! Thank you to the Arboretum for recognizing our 90 years of impact in the community!” says JLS President, Erika Melchiorre. Along with honoring the JLS, ART in the Garden™ attendees will be celebrating the retirement of RRA Executive Director, Frank Juliano, while enjoying gourmet food by David Ellis Events, live and silent auctions, entertainment by the Silver Arrow Band, all in the beautiful surroundings of the Arboretum. The funds raised during ART in the Garden™ allow the Arboretum to continue to serve a broad and ever-changing community by providing environmental and horticultural education programs to children and adults of all abilities, and by maintaining an historic house and gardens as a cultural destination and resource for over 100,000 visitors annually.
