Junior League of Summit to be a Series Sponsor

for "Screen on the Green"

The Junior League of Summit is pleased to sponsor the Summit Community Programs Series - Screen on the Green. The series kicks off on July 9th with Disney’s live-action remake of Aladdin and then continues every Thursday thereafter for five weeks.

When asked about sponsoring the entire series, Tara Charvat, President of the League commented, “We are excited to take part in sponsoring this annual event. This year more than ever, we felt it was important to show our appreciation by giving back to our community. During this unprecedented and stressful time, we felt coming together in a responsible way to simply share an entertainment experience under the stars during the summer might just provide the community the fun and levity they have been craving over the last few months.”

Each week Summit Community Programs will have family dance parties, prizes, entertainment and giveaways starting at 7:15 on Summit’s Village Green. Family-friendly movies will be shown at dark. The line up this year includes Aladdin, Abominable, Angry Birds, Frozen II and Dora & the Lost City.
