Kent Place School to Hold Admission Events In November for Prospective Families

The Admission Office at Kent Place School announces its November Admission Events for prospective families.

Summit, NJ (October 28, 2016) -- The Admission Office at Kent Place School, an independent, nonsectarian, college-preparatory day school for girls and young women with a coed Preschool program, announces its November Admission Events for prospective families. Please register for all admission events online at www.kentplace.org/admission/dates.

On Thursday, November 10 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Great Room of the Kent Place Upper School, the Admission Office, together with the Athletics Office, will host a dinner and panel for prospective families titled, "Building the Female Student Athlete: Life Lessons Through Athletics." The event will feature a panel made up of student-athletes, the athletic trainer and current coaches. They will answer relevant questions pertaining to balancing academics and sports and maintaining a competitive edge over many of New Jersey’s fiercest contenders. Representatives from the championship ice hockey, soccer, lacrosse and field hockey teams will be in attendance, among others.

Kent Place Director of Athletics, Bobbi Moran, will moderate the panel, and Director of Admission & Financial Aid, Julia Wall, will be present to answer any queries related to the Kent Place application process.

On Sunday, November 20 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., there will be a traditional All School Open House for prospective families interested in Preschool through Grade 12. This event will allow families to hear from the Admission Office, meet teachers, students and receive a comprehensive tour of the campus and classroom spaces.

Kent Place School offers a multi-dimensional and comprehensive educational experience combining academic challenge with a richness of activities, athletics and community endeavors. A broad range of opportunities for leadership, social development and responsible citizenship is offered school-wide. Independent thinking and personal development are integral to the learning experience at Kent Place.
