Local Summit Talent to Star in The Secret Garden
Hexagon Players present this magical musical for family audiences in a hauntingly NEW production featuring outstanding local talent.
James Ciccarelle, of Summit, will star as Colin and his sister, Mia Ciccarelle, will be a member of the Dance Troupe, in Hexagon Players' "The Secret Garden." With spectacular Asian-inspired choreography, amazing stage illusions, fanciful puppetry, dazzling period costumes, and a staging that is both hauntingly suspenseful and whimsically magical; this is one family-friendly production that is sure to leave an indelible imprint on all who experience it. Performances from November 11 through November 19 for a limited 7-show engagement at Grace Lutheran Church, 65 Main Street, Mendham.
Using 4-D Audience Immersion Technology developed exclusively for Hexagon Players, journey with Mary Lennox to the Moors of England in a multi-sensory experience like nothing you've ever seen, heard, smelled, or felt before! This hauntingly, magical production, based on Frances Hodgson Burnett’s children’s book, music by Lucy Simon and Marsha Norman, and directed by Patrick Frances Mahn, with Musical Direction by Darlene Yannetta.
James, age 12, started at a young age acting in theater and has performed in many productions. Recent theater credits include A Christmas Story the Musical (Randy), Bonnie & Clyde the Musical (Young Clyde), Into the Woods (Jack), Peter Pan (Michael), and Billy Elliot (Billy Elliot – NJ Community Theater Premiere). James has numerous TV, Film, and Voiceover credits, most recently seen as a guest star on USA Network's new show Donny! He has studied dance, voice, and musical theater at Class Act for the Performing Arts in South Orange NJ, also dance at Dance Molinari, NYC, and Voice with Adam Roebuck, NY/NJ. James is represented by Zoom Talent, Carson/Kolker Agency, and appears courtesy of Actor's Equity Association.

Mia, age 9, also began acting at a young age. Her recent credits include Theater: Aladdin the Musical (Abu), Peter Pan (Tiger Lily), Suessical the Musical (Who & Elephant Bird). TV: Jessica Jones (Marvel/Netflix), The Haunting of (Lifetime), Stalked (Discovery ID) Feature Films: Ace of Spades (Emma), and the Tina Fey/Amy Pohler comedy Sisters (Young Maura). Mia has studied dance, voice, and musical theater at Class Act for the Performing Arts in South Orange, NJ, also dances at Dance Molinari, NYC, and Voice with Adam Roebuck, NY/NJ.
