Make a Senior Smile is Back!
Local student-run service project seeks items to be delivered with Meals on Wheels to local seniors.
SUMMIT, NJ — Last winter, Make a Senior Smile asked our community for help and, boy, did you deliver! Thanks to you, more than 100 local seniors received special care packages with their Meals on Wheels! Now we're back and excited to announce another opportunity to help donate items and bring a little cheer to our Summit-area seniors.
To donate, simply drop off items at 160 OAK RIDGE AVENUE in Summit in the container by the front door and we'll make sure they're wrapped and delivered to SAGE Eldercare for the Meals on Wheels program.
Suggested items include: granola/protein bars, low-sodium soups, single-serving cereal & oatmeal, cookies, crackers, candy, warm socks and blankets, and homemade cards. Other items are also welcome!
