Man Jailed After Warrant Arrest: Summit Police

Alvin C. Hilliard was transported to the Essex County Jail.

SUMMIT, NJ - A 37-year-old Newark man was jailed after being arrested by the Summit Police Department on Dec. 28, authorities said.

Alvin C. Hilliard was arrested on a contempt of court warrant out of Essex County, police said. Hilliard was transported to the Essex County Jail where custody was subsequently turned over to their officers, police said.
