‘ Mommy and Me/Catechesis for Toddlers’ Program debuts in Early 2017

Program Registration Now Open

Calvary Church will launch a new weekday Mommy and Me/Catechesis of the Good Shepherd for Toddlers' program— designed for children ages 18 to 36 months— beginning February of 2017.

The new program is based on the methodology of Maria Montessori, in which the youngest child is given materials for the work of language skills and fine motor manipulations, as well as the work of the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd international formation program for children that plants the seed for spiritual life through prayer, interactive work, and celebration aided by a catechist (teacher) in a prepared environment called the atrium.

The environment is designed to be both warm and welcoming, allowing children to explore how they can do things by themselves, and the parent can grow through observation and interaction with their child.
