SUMMIT, NJ - A theft of cash from an unsecured residence on Morris Avenue brought out police to investigate on Oct. 19, officials said. The victim reported that someone went into a bedroom and removed a small wooden chest that there.
In the chest was approximately $500 in cash in miscellaneous denominations, police said.
