Multiple Thefts Reported In Summit

SUMMIT, NJ — Summit Police reported multiple thefts including from two unlocked cars, a Garden Road home and multiple bikes.

On June 5 at 9:14 p.m.: A report was taken for a theft from two unsecured motor vehicles parked in the driveway of a Primrose Place residence. The victim reported the incident occurred between mighnight and 7:30 a.m. Taken from the vehicles were a maroon baseball bag, one Easton aluminum baseball bat, one Mizuno wooden baseball bat, one Mizuno royal blue helmet, one Mizuno brown and black baseball glove,
one pair of white and blue Nike batting gloves, one clear green water bottle. Total value of the stolen items was approximately $440.

On June 6 at 12:03 p.m.: A report was taken for a theft from a Garden Road residence. The victim reported the incident occurring sometime in the last month when several items were removed from a residence. Taken from the home were one box of arrowheads, one velvet plaque with antique coins, one
foreign coin collection, one Turkish saber, one Rosewood box, four German beer steins, and two Bing & Gronded figurines. At the time of the report, the victim was unable to provide a value of the stolen items.

On June 9: Primitivo Bravo-Guerrero, 37, of Summit was arrested and charged with providing alcohol to an underage minor. Bravo-Guerrero was processed and released with a pending court date.

On June 10: Leoncio Crisostomo-Javier, 56, of Passaic was arrested on a contempt of court warrant out of Madison. Crisostomo-Javier was processed and released with a pending court date.

On June 11 at 5:07 p.m.: A report was taken for a theft of a bicycle from the Summit Train Station. The victim reported the incident occurred between 6:55 a.m. and 5 p.m. Secured to the bicycle rack, the black and blue Giant Escape-2 was valued at approximately $450.

On June 11 at 6:37 p.m.: A report was taken for a theft of a bicycle from the Summit Train Station. The victim reported the incident occurred between 7:05 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Secured to the bicycle rack, the black Scott Metrix bicycle, valued at approximately $800.

On June 14: Alriche Zamy, 33, of Hollywood, Florida was arrested on a fugitive from justice warrant out of Palm Beach County Florida. Zamy was processed and awaiting extradition to Florida.

On June 15 at 6:45 p.m.: A report was taken for a theft from the Tatlock Field fieldhouse. The victim reported that 12 inflated Wilson footballs, stamped with the Summit football logo, were last seen at the end of the football season in December 2017. Total value of the stolen items is approximately $780.
