Panda, a restaurant featuring Chinese, Japanese and Thai food, has opened a new location on Morris Avenue in Summit. It is the second location for the successful chain that began in Cedar Knolls.
Three different menus are available reflecting each style of food. Their recipe for General Tso's Chicken is their pride, while sushi and Thai food have joined the menu as the ethnic cuisine became widely popular, said Sam Yang, co-owner and manager.
"We want to do those three kinds to fit the customer so that they can get everything in one place," said Amanda Yang, co-owner and manager.

The grand opening was on November 10, 2009, but Panda in Summit is continuing its celebration through the New Year with coupons until May.
Panda offers delivery, pickup and limited seating at the sushi bar though Amanda Yang said they expect to get three more tables moved in soon. Sam Yang said that there is a convenient and free parking lot in front of the restaurant for customer convenience.

"We hope our customers will like to try out this new place for take out or delivery, and the interior design is quite a satisfying visual for such a small place," said Sam Yang.
Amanda Yang said that they chose this location because it was close to their other restaurant, and because the people of Summit seem to really enjoy Chinese food.
Panda is located at 529 Morris Avenue, Summit, New Jersey. For more information or to place an order call 908-608-1188 or visit http://panda908.com. Copies of the menu are available in the restaurant and on the website.
