SUMMIT, NJ — Two new four-way stops have been installed in Summit as part of a comprehensive engineering effort to increase vehicle and pedestrian safety.
The four-way stop signs are now required at Whittredge Road and Hobart Avenue and Essex Road and Whittredge Road intersections. There is one other four-way stop in Summit at the intersection of Blackburn Road and Pine Grove Avenue.
Motorists, cyclists and pedestrians are being asked to be aware of these new traffic patterns and to drive, bike and walk safely around town, Summit announced.
