New Gardening and Nutrition Program at Reeves-Reed Arboretum
Let's Get Growing! Kids ages 5-12 will discover the wonderful world of Square Foot Gardening this summer at the Arboretum in Summit.

Ever wonder if yellow and purple string beans taste the same? Or if flowers are edible? Ever wonder which pollinators visit a vegetable garden? If you’ve ever wondered about these things and want to learn a simple, fun and efficient way to grow and harvest delicious veggies in less space, with less time, and less work, come discover the wonderful world of Square Foot Gardening at Reeves-Reed Arboretum. Let’s Get Growing!
Beginning July 6, the Arboretum will be offering a new Gardening and Nutrition program called “Let’s Get Growing” for children ages 5-12. A special feature of our Square Foot Garden: everything in our garden whether vegetable, herb, or flower will be edible!
Join us each Wednesday from 9:30-11:30 to discover the wonderful world of vegetable gardening from “Seed to Plate” the Square Foot Garden way!

Pre-registration is required; space is limited to 10 children. Sign up for one class or join us for the entire series, as we cultivate some wonder.
Members: Free for RRA Family level members & above; Non-Members: $20/person per class or save by signing up for the 9 class series! Series price $140
