Kent Place School’s newly expanded Girls’ Leadership Institute is excited to announce its 2017 Open House date for prospective participants.

The Open House will take place on Tuesday, March 7, 2017, from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. on the Kent Place School campus, 42 Norwood Avenue, Summit, NJ. Parents can join their children to learn all about GLI's new summer offerings, and to participate in free parent-daughter leadership workshops!

Now in its 22nd year, the Girls’ Leadership Institute holds summer institutes for girls entering grades 4-5, 7-8 and 9. At every level, our summer institutes help girls explore their leadership potential, strengthen their self-advocacy skills and turn ideas into action. All programs include hands-on activities on our 26-acre campus, guest lectures, peer mentoring and off-site field experiences designed to build skills in several essential areas: communication, social and emotional intelligence, vision and goal setting, ethical decision-making, leadership styles and cultural competence. Graduates of our programs go on to become student government leaders, publication editors, team captains and club presidents.
