Nocella Italian Delicatessen Opens Today

Owner of Summit Brick Oven opens second shop in downtown Summit.

Vinnie Celii may already own , but today he opens his second store in downtown Summit: an Italian delicatessen named Nocella.

Nocella, located at the site of the old Birdy's Bakery, is named after Celii's hometown in Italy where he lived for five years before coming to the United States. Celii has owned Summit Brick Oven for 12 years.

The decision to open Nocella, which will carry a host of sandwiches and offer a salad bar, was partially based on the success of salads at the pizzeria.
