The Junior League of Summit is currently recruiting women who have an interest in voluntarism to join its next New Member class this fall.
President Colleen Markley welcomed several prospective new members with a wine and cheese party at her home on Thursday evening. This was a wonderful opportunity for women to learn about JLS membership benefits such as the volunteer training and development course as well as JLS-led community impact projects.
JLS leadership, current members, and past presidents were on hand at the event to answer questions about the membership process, community service opportunities, education and training opportunities, and social events.
“We are thrilled with the turnout this year, and it’s not too late to join,” said Rachel Milun, New Member Committee Chair. “We have recruited a talented group of women eager to work together to improve the community and make new friends along the way.”
The Junior League of Summit:
