November 18th declared "Junior League of Summit Day"

On November 18, 2024 - exactly 95 years from its inception- the Junior League of Summit was awarded a proclamation from the City of Summit.

On November 18, 2024 - exactly 95 years from its inception- the Junior League of Summit was awarded a proclamation from the City of Summit. During the Common Council meeting, the proclamation was read by Summit Mayor Elizabeth Fagan and November 18the was declared "Junior League of Summit Day". On hand at the reading were several members of JLS, including JLS President April Montgomery and JLS Executive Vice President Cristina Curiale, who formally received the proclamation.

The Junior League of Summit is proud of our 95 years of service in Berkeley Heights, Chatham, New Providence, Summit and surrounding communities.

Overall, we are thrilled to say we've returned over $3 million in grants, scholarships, projects and programs to our local communities. It has been and continues to be a pleasure to provide much needed services. We work hard, learn, tackle challenges, enjoy ourselves and make a difference.
