Passaic Avenue Train Bridge To Be Repaired Tuesday Night
Passaic Avenue will be closed Tuesday night to repair the train bridge after a large truck struck the underpass on Saturday.

SUMMIT, NJ — Passaic Avenue will be closed Tuesday night to repair the train bridge after a large truck struck the underpass on Saturday.
Repairs will be made from 8 p.m. to midnight and the road will be closed between Beekman Road and Constantine Place, Summit Police announced.
A large truck struck the Passaic Avenue train bridge underpass at 3 a.m. on Saturday causing the structural integrity of the bridge to be compromised.

Summit Fire Department responded and the Gladstone train line service had been suspended in both directions between Summit and Murray Hill stations over the weekend as a result of the crash.
