Jefferson School students shared their work with parents, administrators, teachers and classmates.

SUMMIT, NJ - An explosion of multimedia overtook Jefferson School on Dec. 10 as students is Melissa Fusari's fifth grade class presented their their original TIME Magazine publications and multimedia creations.

Parents, administrators, teachers, and fourth grade classes were all in the audience. Students showcased their feature articles as well as a combination of local, national and world news reports on dynamic presentation boards. The fifth graders not only immersed themselves in research, drafting, and revision during this nonfiction/journalism unit, they had the opportunity to fine-tune oral speaking skills and demonstrate their creativity through myriad of artistic outlets.

According to Fusari, Jefferson's 5FI students are proud that all of their hard work translated into beautiful artifacts that will be keepsakes for years to come.
