Police Blotter: Two 18-Year-Olds Arrested For Alleged Marijuana Possession
The following information was provided by the Summit Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.
April 19
- At 1:27 a.m., Summit Police arrested Dalton Alexander, 21, of Irvington on Morris Avenue and Kent Place. The suspect was arrested on a warrant for simple assault.
April 23
- At 10:31 p.m., police responded to the office of a local optician for a report of a theft. According to reports, nine pairs of Maui Jim sunglasses were stolen from a display case between 2 p.m. on April 19 and 2 p.m. on April 20.

- Summit Police arrested two Summit men at 4:27 p.m. for possession of suspected marijuana. Derek J. Stewart, 18, and James H. Reach, also 18, were charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana.
- At 12:17 p.m., police responded to a car dealership on a report of numerous hubcps stolen. According to reports, hubcaps were stolen from eight vehicles sometime between 8 p.m. on April 22 and 9:15 a.m. on April 24.
