Pumpkin Patch, Oktoberfest, Other Fall Attractions Coming To Arboteum In Summit
A pumpkin patch, kids' games, Oktoberfest, and...goats? All are coming to a popular public garden in Summit this fall.

SUMMIT, NJ — The Reeves-Reed Arboretum is promising a slew of attractions this fall involving everything from a pumpkin patch to an Oktoberfest festival to kids' games to...goats?
Well, yes.
The non-profit public garden located in Summit will kick off the season with its annual festival, "Celebrate Fall," on Sunday, Oct. 17 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., with kids' events, food, and some fuzzy friends.

The autumn-themed fair will feature crafts and activities for the kids, games, food trucks, photo opportunities on the grounds, a spooky trail and pumpkin patch, art exhibit, music, vendors, and "adorable" goats.
Also, a cultural Durga Puja program, new this year, will feature Indian song and dance performances, fashion show, story time, and additional activities for children.

Sponsored in part by Infantini Landscaping, Ciel Power, Nexgen Sources and Investors Bank, "Celebrate Fall" is free for Reeves-Reed Arboretum members and children under two. The cost for non-members is $10 per person.
Oktoberfest The Following Weekend
The following week, Reeves-Reed Arboretum will transform into a beer garden and celebrate Oktoberfest 2021 on Saturday, Oct. 23, 1 to 5 p.m.
Sponsored by Peerless Beverage Company, this seasonal fete will feature premium beer, and Bavarian-style bratwurst and pretzels from Barth’s Market known for their old-world German dishes. The afternoon’s festivities will be complete with live music by popular oom-pah band, Doppelgänger.
Oktoberfest attire is highly encouraged, with special prizes for best costume!
The flavorful autumn event is a fundraiser for the Arboretum.
Admission to Oktoberfest 2021 is $75 for Reeves-Reed Arboretum members and $90 per person for non-members. Admission includes bottomless beer, bratwurst, and pretzels. You must be 21 years or older to attend Oktoberfest 2021 and reservations are recommended since attendance is limited.
