Registration Open for Religious Education at Beacon UU Congregation
Beacon offers religious education programs, PreK through 12th grade, that build resilient, confident, and compassionate children and youth.
Registration is currently open for religious education programs for children and youth, PreK through 12th grade, at Beacon Unitarian Universalist Congregation in Summit, New Jersey. To register or for more information, visit summitbeacon.org/youth.
Programs in Beacon’s Lifespan Ministry are designed to build resilient, confident, and compassionate children and youth. Using a child- and youth-centered approach, gathering in small groups, participants engage in uncovering shared values, deeper reflection, exploring beliefs, and sharing within a community of peers and mentors.
“What emerges is a sense of belonging, a commitment to justice, and an open, respectful questioning of others and oneself,” said Dr. Tuli Patel, Executive Director and Lifespan Ministry Team Lead at Beacon.

Children’s programs (PreK through 5th grade) take place on Sunday mornings, with two time options (9:30 or 11 AM), and youth programs (6th through 12th grades) are held on Sundays at 6 PM. Membership in the church is not a prerequisite.
