MEDICARE OPEN ENROLLMENT IS COMING SOON! From October 15th through December 7th, Medicare beneficiaries can make changes to their health and drug plans for the upcoming year. Don't let it slip by! Even if you are happy with your advantage plan (HMO) or drug plan, you need to confirm that the plans will still work for you next year. Plans change every year. Your premiums may skyrocket, your drugs may no longer be covered, advantage plans may have new benefits that will save you money, or there may be a better, new plan for you (or maybe there's been a better option for years). It is SMART to review your plans each year, and SAGE's SHIP counselors are here to help you do that. Our individual counseling services are free, objective and confidential and to ensure everyone's safety, will be provided by telephone or Zoom. You are invited to call or email us to set up an appointment. We will also be offering group presentations via Zoom. Presentations will be every Monday at 2 pm, Wednesday at 7 pm and Thursday at 10 am, from October 19th through December 3rd. Registration is required.
