SAGE Counselors to Help with 2021 Medicare Annual Open Enrollment

SAGE Eldercare’s SHIP (State Health Insurance Assistance Program) counselors are available at no charge to discuss Medicare plans and options for 2021 during Open Enrollment, October 15 - December 7.

On Wednesdays (10:00 am) and Thursdays (6:00 pm), during enrollment period, SAGE will host a Zoom webinar. Attendees are asked to come with a prepared list of questions. SAGE is also hosting virtual and in - person “Medicare and You” programs at area libraries. Below is the schedule.

SAGE Eldercare serves as the SHIP representative for Union County. Staff and volunteers are available for free, personalized, confidential and objective Medicare counseling regarding program options, claims, billing, appeals and information about programs for people with limited income and resources. The counselors receive ongoing training from the Division of Aging Services, New Jersey Department of Human Services.
