Several Summit Schools Named In Top STEM Ranking
Summit High School, Kent Place School and Oak Knoll is on the list of the top STEM schools in the nation, according to Newsweek.
SUMMIT, NJ — Several Summit schools have been named among the top 5,000 STEM high schools in the United States.
Summit High School was named to Newsweek's list the best 5,000 STEM high schools with a score of 93.75, placing them 190 on the list. Kent Place School was named to Newsweek's list the best 5,000 STEM high schools with a score of 89.16, placing them 509 on the list. Oak Knoll was named to Newsweek's list the best 5,000 STEM high schools with a score of 85, placing them 780 on the list.
Newsweek partnered with STEM.org to curate the list using data from the second quarter of 2015 until the third quarter of 2019, including affluence and median household income.

Newsweek's list was created to determine what primary and secondary schools best offer students experiences in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics while preparing them for life after high school.
The top 500 STEM high schools on the list will be featured in Newsweek's next issue Friday. The full list is available on Newsweek.com.
