Shark Tank! Middle School Edition

As a way to help drive youth potential and creativity, the Y program will teach students what it takes to become an entrepreneur!

This fall, the Summit Area YMCA will be introducing a highly anticipated, new program for middle school teens called, “Shark Tank- Middle School Edition.” As a way to help drive youth potential and creativity, the Y program will teach students what it takes to become an entrepreneur. Facilitating the program will be Jon Budish, a financial advisor and broker with over 30 + years experience who previously led a successful financial literacy series for high school students here at the Y.

Shark Tank will teach kids to learn how to write a business plan and present it to investors. But don’t worry, this shark tank doesn’t bite. “This will be a great experience for them in processing a business idea, and making a presentation to potential investors! Should be a lot of fun!” says Budish.
This program is FREE and open to the community! The Y's free programs are supported by the generosity of our donors, whose donations drive free programs and classes that help to build strong, independent youth, healthier individuals, and invoke a sense of social responsibility to build a better community.

Enrollment begins for members on August 15 and the community on August 22. Spots are limited! To sign up, please visit our website at www.thesay.org or front desk.
