Stony Hill Players announces their 2016-17 Season
Stony Hill Players, Summit's coveted community theater announces their 2016-2017 season!

Stony Hill Players announces their 2016-2017 Season. Opening with our youth ensemble's production of The Wedding Singer, Pebble Players will take you back to the 80's with this energetic fun show, presented November 11,12,13, 18, 19 and 20th. This hilarious show takes on the days when hair was big, greed was good, and all collars were up guaranteeing laughs, while it's sparkling new score orchestrates the unmissable dance numbers. Based on the hit Adam Sandler movie, The Wedding Singer offers leg warmers and love, Jersey-style.
Stony Hill Players next big hit production Little Shop of Horrors opens Jan 27,28, 29, Feb 3 & 4. A deviously delicious sci-fi smash musical, Little Shop Of Horrors has devoured the hearts of theatre-goers for over 30 years. When the meek floral assistant Seymour discovers a mutant breed of plant, the foul-mouthed carnivorous flower promises him unending fame, and an insidious route to winning his true love. There's a catch, however, Seymour must keep feeding it BLOOD! One of the longest-running Off-Broadway shows, this charmingly tongue-in-cheek comedy has a truly killer R&B score.
Our final production of the season, Lend Me A Tenor, will be presented March 31, April 1,2 & 7-9. When the world-famous tenor, Tito Merelli, is invited to perform Otello, at the Cleveland Grand Opera Company, Henry Saunders, the opera’s executive director, has high hopes that Merelli’s performance will put Cleveland on the operatic map. However, when the tenor is accidentally drugged at the final dress rehearsal, the production team must produce a double to fill his role. Pretty soon, two Otellos are running around in costumes, and two smitten women are running around in lingerie, and the mayhem that ensues will keep you in stitches!
