Student/Partner Alliance Welcomes New Trustees

August, 2022 – Student/Partner Alliance, a Summit-based non-profit, welcomed two new members to its Board of Trustees - Shadae McDaniel and Quincy Slay. Ms. McDaniel is the Vice President and City Leader of the All Stars Project of New Jersey, an afterschool non-profit organization that uses the developmental power of performance to transform the lives of youth in poor and underserved communities. Mr. Slay is a 2019 graduate of Hudson Catholic Regional High School where he was a Student/Partner Alliance student mentored by Christopher Birosak, current Treasurer of the S/PA Board of Trustees. He is currently a student at Seton Hall University where he will graduate in 2023.

“We are thrilled that Shadae and Quincy are joining our Board of Trustees,” said Emmett Daly, President of the Board, “Shadae’s experience as a non-profit executive and Quincy’s experience as a former S/PA student will bring new perspectives to our Board.” Student/Partner Alliance provides tuition assistance and mentoring to private high school students in New Jersey’s urban areas of Essex, Hudson and Union counties.
