Summit Begins Search For Next Principal Of LCJ Middle School
"We are committed to filling the position with the best candidate," Superintendent June Chang announced.

SUMMIT, NJ — Summit will begin an active and open search immediately to find the next Principal of Lawton C. Johnson Summit Middle School.
"We are committed to filling the position with the best candidate," Superintendent June Chang announced Wednesday.
The position became open after current Principal Damen Cooper resigned to take a position as new Principal of Hackensack Middle School.

Cooper will continue to serve in his position in the interim and is expected to be there to open the 2018-2019 school year. Cooper was appointed to Principal in January 2016.
"The district will focus its support on the middle school during this transition, and I am confident that we will find someone who is a fit with our expectations of excellence," Chang said.
