Summit Chorale Spring Season

For our 2025-2026 season, Summit Chorale is observing the United States Semiquincentennial with concert programs that celebrate our rich musical history and repertoire that reflects landmark moments in the history of our country. We continue with our Spring Season with the following performances.

Valentine's Day Cabaret (2/14 at 7:30pm): A Night at the Opera with QUEEN!

Our annual cabaret has become an audience favorite! Come celebrate the great music of QUEEN as our Summit Chorale members take to the stage to lead us through classic hits from the 70s and 80s! A cash bar will be available along with appetizers and desserts for you to enjoy as you rock out with us. This will be at the Knights of Columbus in Summit.

Gala Dinner Performance (3/28 at 7:30pm): Lady Luck & The Golden Age of Broadway

Experience stellar performances of beloved Broadway favorites with wine, beer, and a catered meal, all without the hassle of venturing into NYC! Come back in time with us to enjoy the glitz and glamor of old Broadway, and songs from the musicals that defined musical theatre for years to come, known for their lush orchestrations, dreamy dance sequences, and generally, happy endings. The chorale will perform selections from Guys and Dolls mixed with solo performances from other Golden Age musicals, while you help yourself to wine, beer, and buffet-style dinner courtesy of our venue, The Cranford Social (check out their stellar food reviews!).

Try your luck at our new 50/50 raffle ($10 per ticket for your chance to win thousands!) as well as our signature wine pull ($20 for a mystery bottle that could be worth $100+!), and purchase some Summit Chorale swag. Will luck be a lady tonight? Why not come find out?

Note that all gala guests must be 21+ years of age.

Spring Concert (5/17 at 5pm): Liberty and Justice for All

Our season finale features concert works that focus on events that shaped the course of American History and the leaders who chose the path. From Thomas Jefferson and Abraham Lincoln to Richard Nixon, this program reflects the tragedy and triumph of American History.

Summit Chorale is New Jersey's oldest continuously active choral organization, celebrating our 117th year during the 2025-2026 season. Led by Music Director Dr. Thomas Juneau, we are well into our second century of exciting repertoire and music making. The chorale performs masterworks of choral literature as well as music from contemporary composers and explores varied musical styles. We strive for repertoire that will challenge our singers and appeal to a broad audience. Recently performed works include Brahms's Ein Deutsches Requiem and Liebeslieder Waltzes, Bach's Jesu Meine Freude, Lauridsen's O Magnum Mysterium and new works by Dr. Juneau, including Festival Magnificat and Gaudete.
