Summit Church Announces Outdoor Summer Services
Non-traditional Worship at Central Presbyterian Church
Central Presbyterian Church in Summit, NJ, announces its lineup of outdoor summer WAVE services. WAVE is a non-traditional worship service that features a live band, a special inspirational message, activities for children, and a free supper, while held on the lawn of 70 Maple Street, Summit on the Sundays in July at 5:00 p.m.
- July 9 will feature the music of U2.
- July 16 will feature the music of Brandi Carlile.
- July 23 will feature the music of Motown.
- July 30 will feature the music of James Taylor.
The public is invited and the service is appropriate for the entire family. Bring a blanket or beach chair (or use one of the supplied chairs). If the weather is too wet (or too hot), the service will move into the air-conditioned church auditorium.
Central Presbyterian Church is located at 70 Maple Street in Summit. Worship services are offered at 8:30 and 10:00 a.m. each Sunday, plus WAVE Services as listed above. Learn more at centralpres.org.
