St. Teresa's Church Thanks Volunteer EMS Responders

Thanks and a contribution to their Guardiian Angels

On March 3rd, the Summit Volunteer First Aid Squad answered a 9-1-1 call at St Teresa of Avila Church
for a fall victim. Sr Frances Marie, sacristan at the church, fell down the side steps of the church, injuring herself. The Summit Volunteer First Aid Squad responded to her call for help and and according to the parish, "administered top-notch care in rescuing Sr. Frances Marie". In appreciation for that call, as well as all that the Summit Volunteer First Aid Squad does for the community, Monsignor Robert Meyer, (affectionately known as Fr Bob) offered his appreciation with a donation to the Squad.

The all-volunteer First Aid Squad is always looking for new members to join its ranks. All needed training, uniforms and equipment is provided. The Squad is funded entirely through private donations and provides all services free of charge. For information, please call 908-277-9479, or visit their web site at: www.summitems.org.
