SUMMIT, NJ - The Summit Public Schools formally "cut the ribbon" to open the brand new turf field at Summit High School at the end of last month.

According to officials, tt was a collaborative effort, with the Summit Board of Education sponsoring and supporting the project. EI Associates were in charge of planning and oversight, while Shaw Sports Turf and Applied Landscaping prepared and installed the new field.

In addition to installing over 125,000 square feet of brand new turf, other upgrades were made including brand new fencing, the addition of a second digital scoreboard and flagpole, and a brand new SUMMIT HILLTOPPERS windscreen adoring the eastern fence.
