Summit High School’s musical promises to be Something Wonderful

Next Wednesday through Saturday evenings, Summit High School’s Performing Arts program presents the hilarious, crowd-pleasing musical farce, Something Rotten! Now audiences from all over can join in on the fun via livestream on Wednesday and Thursday, March 1st and 2nd, at 6 pm eastern.

Created by Grammy Award-winning songwriter Wayne Kirkpatrick, and screenwriters Karey Kirkpatrick and John O'Farrell, and set in the 1590s, brothers Nick and Nigel Bottom are desperate to write a hit play for their floundering theatre troupe, but are constantly being overshadowed by the overachieving and arrogant "rock star" William Shakespeare. Relying on the half-witted advice of a local soothsayer, the Bottom brothers set out to write the world's very first musical with a hilarious result that will have audiences in stitches.
