Summit Local's Trump Film Aims To Stop Hate, Heal The Country
Luciano Garcia created a short film in which Trump has a spiritual awakening that leads him to see all the wrongs he has committed.
SUMMIT, NJ — A Summit filmmaker is hoping his short movie about President Trump can spur a change to help our country heal and get past all of the hate and politics.
Luciano Garcia released the short film "Executive Order 1-08: Heal" in which Donald Trump has a spiritual awakening that leads him to see all the wrongs he has committed to his people and the world. This realization has him call for a press conference and ask his people for forgiveness and a chance to start over.
“What I am trying to accomplish is to offer a new perspective and have people look beyond the politics,” Garcia told Patch. “No one is looking beyond that and I want to offer the first step of healing. I want us to be able to look at each other as Americans instead of other labels we subscribe to, such as Democrats and Republicans. We are all Americans, we are all in this together. Both sides have a lot of apologizing to do. And who better to start that than the President himself.”

Garcia has loved film since he was a child and watched short films growing up. This is his first serious short film, which he got the idea from an article he read about an African tribe and how they help those who make mistakes.
“When somebody makes a mistake the villagers surround that man and say good things about him for two days to help reconnect him back into village and realize that they came into the world as a good person. They believe a mistake is a cry for help,” Garcia said.

Taking this viewpoint into account, Garcia crafted his storyline for his film and looked at Donald Trump as a person rather than a politician.
In the film Trump has a third eye on his forehard, which Garcia says represents universal sight.
“Before the spiritual awakening, he saw color or money, religion, muslim, gay and all the labels, but after the awakening, at the end of day he saw we are all brothers and sisters,” Garcia said.
Garcia has released his film on Youtube and Facebook and will submit it to local film festivals as well under his company High Voltage Media. He is trying to share his message of “truth and love” to “unite all of humanity.”
