Summit Man Arrested For Assault At Country Fair

NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ — A Summit man was arrested during the Our Lady of Peace Country Fair, New Providence Police report.

On May 4, Patrolman Nicholas Guerriero arrested Allen Steele, 18, of Summit for simple assault and disorderly conduct.

The arrest stemmed from an altercation at the Our Lady of Peace Country Fair. He was released pending a future court appearance.

Other New Providence Police Blotter items:

On May 6: Multiple vehicle were entered on Division Avenue in the overnight hours. All three vehicles were unlocked. Summit Police also had multiple vehicles entered in the area and one vehicle stolen.

On May 4: Corporal Andrew Diamond arrested Tiffany Russo, 37, of Plainfield for possession of marijuana 50 grams or less and driving without a license. The arrest stemmed from a motor vehicle stop Livingston Avenue. She was released pending a future court appearance.

On May 7: Patrolman Joseph DiParisi arrested Qadra Brown, 29, of Summit for active warrants out of Belleville and Bound Brook. Bail was posted and she was released pending future court appearances.

On May 9: Patrolman Christian Cely arrested Thomas Yong, 28, of New Providence for multiple warrants. The arrest stemmed from a motor vehicle stop on Timothy Field Road. Yong also issued multiple motor vehicle summonses. Bail was posted and he was release pending a future court appearance.
